TOP Small Business Consulting is positioned as "the small business owner's independent and objective strategy partner" and our primary objective is to increase small business competitiveness.

My team and I are launching a marketing service to “promote small businesses to their local communities”.

We are currently looking for part-time Area Representatives to represent the business and its services in Gauteng, Klerksdorp and Kimberley.

The Position.

The position is a remote-working position that will suit a self-motivated extrovert who likes to network with local businesses.

You will be required to work between two to five hours per day during normal business hours.

The primary responsibilities of the Area Representative are as follows;

  • Identify local businesses that can benefit from TOP consulting’s services.
  • Set up appointments with local small business owners.
  • Provide high-quality support to our clients.

Remuneration includes;

  • Weekly Basic Salary.
  • Monthly Performance Bonus.
  • Commissions on Monthly Revenue.
  • Allowances for Phone, Internet and Petrol.

The Candidate.

You may be looking for part-time employment or you may be an entrepreneur looking for an additional income stream that aligns with your existing business (i.e. your business already serves small businesses).

1. Aligned with our vision.

You must be passionate about supporting small businesses and able to demonstrate that you already support your local small businesses.

2. Able to work remotely.

You must have your own laptop computer with a reliable internet connection with enough bandwidth for online meetings (you will receive a monthly allowance to cover business use).

You must have your own reliable vehicle.

3. Education.

The minimum educational requirement is a Matric certificate. Additional qualifications, especially in sales and marketing, will be an advantage.

4. Experience in sales and marketing.

You must have an active profile on Facebook. Additional profiles on one or more other social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn will be an advantage.

You must demonstrate a willingness to engage with other people in a business environment. This can include any experience that enabled you to develop skills in marketing and networking such as sales and marketing courses, membership of a business network group (e.g. BNI) and direct selling experience.

Additional skills such as graphic design, website development and social media marketing will be an advantage and increase your income potential.

5. A desire to lead and excel.

You must be able to demonstrate a desire to be a leader.
